Paula Marie Bruce, CPA holdsa Master's degree in Tax Law from Golden Gate University San Francisco (one of two top tax universities in the country), and a BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting from California State University Los Angeles. Paula has been a California CPA since 1985 and also holds a Series 7 & Series 66 securities licenses, and California Life, Health and Annuity Insurance Licenses. Paula is an investment advisor representative for Genworth Financial Services Corporation

She has worked with several Big Six CPA firms such as were named at the time, Price Waterhouse & Co. as an external auditor, and Deloitte Touche LLP as an audit consultant. She has worked and traveled internationally with Fortune 500 companies such as Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, American President Companies, and Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, as an internal auditor and embezzlement control and internal control expert. Paula also has extensive income tax experience and has worked as a consultant with a number of San Francisco Bay Area CPA firms such as Harb, Levy and Weiland, Bertorelli & Co., Boydstun & Klingner, and Middleton & Middleton CPAs.

Paula started her own CPA practice in 1991. She stays current on tax law and accounting issues through her dedication to continuing education and her vast network of colleagues. Her clients, men and women alike, appreciate sensitivity of a woman's touch that she brings to her work. Her professional associations include the American Institute of Cerified Public Accountants, the California Society of CPA's, and the Institute of Internal Auditors

Paula generously volunteers her time in many ways to help her community. She is a mentor for improvished and disadvantaged women and has served on the Board of Directors of Marin Services for Women. She has also served as Treasurer and executive officer of the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce for 5 years. Paula is a dynamic public speaker and has been asked to lecture and write articles on income tax laws and has been featured in several local Marin County newspapers.

Originally from Los Angeles, Paula has enjoyed living in Sausalito since 1993. Like many Sausalitians, she feels blessed to be living here and loves the friendly people. She is an avid exercise buff and works out in her home gym, enjoys traveling, and outdoor sports, including scuba diving, down hill skiiing, hiking, camping, and swimming with her yellow Labrador, Angelo.
